Our Directives
Before submitting a guest post, please follow these guidelines:
- The post must provide in-depth ideas, opinions, and facts regarding the issue. The article should typically be at least 600 words long.
- The content must be well-structured, with an appropriate title, headers, paragraphs, and author bio section.
- No outbound links, unless they are to authoritative reference material.
- There will be no advertising, marketing, or simply promotion.
- The information must be original, new, and not previously published.
- Articles containing grammatical faults and incorrect facts and statistics will be rejected.
- Relevant music, video, and photos are acceptable if you hold the rights to them or if they are copyright-free. YouTube, Vimeo, and SoundCloud content are acceptable.
- You must completely own the information and ensure that it is not transferred to other blogs and websites.
- Articles that cover too many difficult themes are less likely to be approved unless you can present convincing arguments or perspectives on the subject.
- Include at least one related image in a separate file. You may include the image in the article, but it must also be sent as an attachment.
- The item must be educational and valuable to the instructor, student, or parent.
How Should You Go About Your Writing?
Here’s how to write the kinds of posts we enjoy for our blog:
- It should be well-informed and comprehensive.
- Speak in a conversational, talkative tone.
- Use words like “I” and “you” to help your readers relate to the topic.
- Put some thought into your introduction – is it interesting/engaging/different?
- Always offer specific instances, maybe from personal experience.
- If relevant, include a link to the current study or media coverage on the issue.
- Try to choose a topic that hasn’t been covered before – or have something very new and startling to say about an existing one.
- The finest themes are limited and specialized, rather than large and broad.
- Avoid getting on your soapbox and ranting about something.
- Cite persons with opposing viewpoints.
- Avoid using jargon and acronyms.
- When you’re finished, read it aloud. Is that how you communicate?
- The reader should understand what you’re saying, what others have said about the issue, and what they’re being asked to remark on.
- It’s thrilling for us at Excellent Home Classes to be discovering and exposing writing talent in the educational community, and you may be a part of it.
We Do Not Accept Articles
- Anything related to essay writing or assignment writing advice.
- Any content that appears to be promotional for any organization or product. However, you can incorporate a link to your business or product within the post in an appropriate manner.
- Anything with explicit themes or profanity.
- Any racist or abusive remarks.
- Duplicate written information copied from another website or already published on other websites (we do not accept posts that are already published on your website too). The article must be one-of-a-kind.
